Ms. Doruk is a highly experienced professional with core competencies that span strategic business development, management consulting, product development and engineering. As a senior manager at McKinsey & Company and associate partner at Helios Consulting, she focused on developing new business strategies for a wide cross section of Fortune 500 companies. She was the founder CEO at Gaia Power Technologies, where she raised more than $6 million in equity financing and built the organization including a sales team that delivered consistent 50% revenue growth year-over-year. At Citadon she was instrumental in designing and marketing a unique online procurement service for the construction industry and helped to secure $10 million in equity financing. Additional previous employment includes JP Morgan & Company and Solvay Polymers. Ms. Doruk holds an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M Energy Center and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Dr. Ib I. Olsen, Ph.D, Co-Founder, Principal Consultant

Dr. Olsen is an authority in the field of advanced battery and fuel cell development and has authored more than 20 papers and scientific publications. He has also implemented various scale-up and commercialization concepts for battery-related products within a Fortune 500 company and various successful start-ups. Dr. Olsen’s groundbreaking work in the battery and fuel cell technology field has awarded him more than 30 patents. He was the founder CTO at Gaia Power Technologies, where he was in charge of product definition and development and IP, and he secured more several millions in product development grants from State and Federal entities. Additional previous employment includes eVionyx, Saft America and Valence Technology. Dr. Olsen holds a Ph. D. in Chemistry from the University of Odense in Denmark and a M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Denmark’s Technical University.
